Located at number seven Bishopthorpe Road, Robinsons is an independent family run café serving delicious, homemade food.
Opened by Will Pearce and Rebecca Toppin in April 2016, we aim to source the very best in local produce that has a short field-to-fork journey.
Examples from our all-day menu include our delicious chorizo hash with poached eggs, fried cubed potatoes and sundried tomatoes; lip-smacking French toast and bananas; and scrumptious Eggs Benedict.
During the winter months we offer specials of homemade broths and comforting stews. And we serve quality coffee from a superb local supplier, hot chocolates and teas. We also hold a drinks licence, so you can enjoy a tipple with your meal – think Bloody Marys, wine, beer or a liqueur coffee.
Robinsons is a casual cafe where people just come and go. Reservations can be tricky to manage, unreliable and detrimental to a small business.
Due to the size of the seating area and limited kitchen space Robinsons can serve a maximum of 5 guests per table.
